Your Art Sales Machine
I’m offering a new course for artists on growing your sales.
Maybe you can relate. You’ve taken all the online courses on making art and art licensing. You’ve got a beautiful online shop and Instagram page. You’re following all the advice. You post daily, you update your shop… but it’s just not connecting. You post new work and… crickets.
You’ve tried participating in hashtag challenges like #marchmeetthemaker, but you’re barely gaining any new followers, let alone getting any sales in your shop.
You sell to a few shops that you don’t even know how they found you, and their orders are coming less frequently.
You just don’t know what you’re doing wrong. You’re tired of looking at other people that appear so successful, yet they aren’t even updating their Instagram. How are they getting sales?
You don’t even want to do new trend research because it’s just depressing seeing other people’s art in stores where yours should be, some of which isn’t even as good as yours.
You feel like you’re spinning your wheels, not getting anywhere. You’re tired of waiting for things to come together, and you don’t even know what to do next.
I feel you. I’ve been there.
When I graduated from art school, I had absolutely no idea how to sell my work. I took office jobs that I hated, and kept quitting, trying to freelance.
When I started Peony and Moss, I had no idea how to sell to stores, let alone online. I followed the most basic advice I could find online. I read about a brand that got into lots of stores just by sending lots of emails. So I emailed 100 stores.
And I didn’t hear back from a single one.
Then I emailed just one store. And I called them. I contacted them over and over until I finally got the buyer on the phone. She asked if I was doing the local trade show that weekend—I didn’t even know it existed.
I did the trade show, and I sold to six stores and got a sales rep! I grew my line from just six pairs of socks to twenty.
I started reading books on sales and marketing, and taking online courses that talked about selling cars and tech products.
Eventually, I put it together. I did another trade show and sold to a bunch more stores, including a daily deal site that kept me in business that first fall.
Flash forward a few years. I’ve sold to Nordstrom, Anthropologie, and boutiques all over the world, and run a top 1% Etsy shop. I get sales every day. My business has sold over $100,000 per year since my first full year in business.
My business practically runs itself. I kept it running while I had a baby, and then another.
I barely have to work, just enough to maintain my simple sales system, and my work sells over and over. I spend most of my time taking my kids to the playground and making art with them. If I want to launch new products, I know what system to follow, but my best sellers keep selling over and over.
I’ve created a coaching program to show you exactly how I do it:
-Sell to boutiques locally and around the world
-Get sales from Instagram even if you don’t have a lot of followers
-Find buyers that buy from you again and again
-Develop best sellers that keep selling over and over
-Create a business that requires only a little upkeep, to free you up to make more art, have more free time, or grow your business in other ways
-Create an art sales machine that you can scale up to grow your income, or let run automatically to free up your time
I’m starting a three month coaching program with weekly live Zoom calls to teach you the exact system I used to build my business. The calls will be recorded and later offered as an online course. You’ll have full access to me over email during the course.
I normally charge $4500 for this level of one on one coaching, but because I’m running the program as a group and recording the calls to offer as a course, I’m offering it at a significant discount.
By the way, I offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee. If you give the coaching program a try, and it’s not the right fit for you, I offer a full refund.
Here’s the roadmap for what we cover each week in the course:
If you’re interested in joining us, I’d love to have you there.
Not sure if you want to join? I offer free one on one coaching sessions on how to grow your business to $100,000 in sales. I’ll offer you tangible advice you can follow today, and we can see if this course is the right fit for you. Email me to set up a call.
